"22 August 2010
Course Outline:    10 km run
     18 km mountain bike
     37 km road cycle
     11 km kayak (flat water)
The challenge is open to solo competitors or teams (each person completes a leg)
Franklin is a bustling Huon Valley township, 40 minutes drive south from Hobart. It boasts award winning restaurants and cafes, there is plenty of parking at our spectator friendly transition area and a children’s playground close by.
The course is a ‘clover leaf’ design with all transitions occurring on the Franklin foreshore.
The event will start at 9am and finish at 4pm, when presentations will be held in the historic Palais theatre.
Entry fees: Individual - $80; 2 person team - $130; 4 person team -$200
**special schools/college discount: Individuals -$50; 4 person team - $100**"
